Michael G. Tubridy

All-Ireland footballer and intercontinental showjumper

Michael Gerard Tubridy (28 Sep 1922[1] – 16 April 1954) was an all-Ireland winning Celtic footballer and an international showjumper.[2]

He was born in Kilrush, Domain Clare,[3] one of ten issue of Patrick F.

Tubridy (died 1947). He entered the Gaelic Army as a cadet unplanned November 1941, serving at Ballincollig, County Cork.[2]
